Easter 2013

We rounded out the celebrations in April with Easter.  The girls dyed eggs and earlier in the week and the Easter bunny came with bright baskets overnight.

Elizabeth Turns 5

Elizabeth has decided that she should be called her given name, not Lizzy, as she is growing up. Auntie Rosie and Dan were here for the party at Bambooland, a climbing and bouncing place near our house, where Lizzy had invited a few friends from school and some outside school friends.  She choose a rainbow shaped cake, that Granny made a few weeks earlier, and Mommy decorated as a per request.  One of her favorite gifts was a doll with a cupcake hat that came from a good school friend. A school party with a crown and special birthday chair rounded out the big 5.

Ski Colorado

Sorry about the delay in updating the blog...we've been having so much fun that fixing computer problems was not a high enough priority.
Lets go back in time to February 2013: skiing in very snowy Colorado while staying with Grandma and Grandpa. It was no surprise that Lizzy and her invincible spider suit quickly progressed through ski school. Dad got a few candid shots during the last school run of the day and was pleased that Lizzy had enough energy for one last run together before the lift closed.
